What our estimate forms collect
When you request an estimate on one of our sites, the form asks for your name, phone number, email address, the service address or ZIP code, a description of the job, and optional photos. It also records the date and time, the consent statement you agreed to, your IP address, and your browser type, so that there is a record of the request having been made by you.
Why we collect it
For one reason: to send your request to one matched local contractor so they can contact you with an estimate. We do not use your information for anything else.
Who we share it with
Your request and the consent record are shared with the one licensed, insured local contractor we match to it, and with no one else. That contractor may contact you by phone, text, or email about your request, as the consent statement on the form says. The companies that host our website and deliver our internal notifications process this data on our behalf under contract and may not use it for their own purposes.
We do not sell personal information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers, lead resellers, or advertisers. We have not sold personal information in the preceding twelve months and have no plans to.
Text messaging
If you opt in to receive lead notification texts from us, we use your mobile number only to send those notifications. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every other category of sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third party. Reply STOP to any message to opt out.
How long we keep it
Estimate requests, including the consent record, are kept for 24 months and then deleted. If you ask us to delete your request sooner, we will.
Security
Requests travel over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and are stored in an access-controlled database. Only Goodsprings Local Media and the one matched contractor can see a request. No system is perfectly secure, so we collect only what is needed to pass a request along and keep it no longer than stated above.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it, the right to have that information deleted, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that point. You also have the right not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. To exercise any of them, contact us as described below. We will confirm your identity by matching the details you give us to the request on file, and respond within 45 days.

Cookies
Our pages do not set advertising or tracking cookies. The spam check on our forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) may set a cookie needed to tell a person from a bot. That is the only one.
Children
Our sites are for homeowners and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top will change with it.
